In response to a growing demand from parents and teachers of our school community, Singelijn has developed, in close collaboration with the CLL Kids Centres de Langues (www.cll.be), French language courses perfectly adapted to nursery school children.

The objective is to bring children to enjoy the French language in a playful and familiar environment. The CLL's pedagogy uses repetition and the acquisition of sounds, tales, games and songs, all within a structured program which leads the children to learn without effort and to consider the French language as a natural means of communication.

The CLL's oral and playful approach is based on the comprehension and the assimilation of vocabulary belonging to their universe : family, animals, colours, school, leisure activities, the home...

The courses will be given by a native French speaking CLL teacher, trained to teach nursery school children. Each course will be limited to a maximum of eight children.

We strongly feel that these courses will be an added value for the entire school community, allowing Singelijn to maintain its cultural diversity and helping non native French speaking children to better integrate the community
